My name is Klaudia Dybicz. I grew up in Poland where I spent most of my childhood. I now live in Nottingham, UK. I always loved animals, mainly horses. Since I was very little I would be drawing horses literally everywhere! The obsession with horses carried on for the next 19 years.
After finishing school, I went to an agricultural college to do an extended diploma in horse management. This was at Brackenhurst Equestrian Centre and the best 2 years for me. It helped me expand my knowledge about horses and their anatomy and physiology. My love for horses still grows as I work as a Stud Hand at a thoroughbred stud. I really enjoy it as I get to spend time with horses, as well as draw them in my spare time at home!
To create my drawings, I use highest quality lightfast materials. This includes a variety of Caran D'Ache luminance pencils, as well as Faber-Castell polychromos. My choice of paper is Clairefontaine Pastelmat paper. Although commissioning and selling my artwork is not my full time job, I still take pride and joy in creating art and making people happy by drawing their beloved pets!
